About the show
Following a critically acclaimed Eastern European tour, Built for Collapse returns to New York with its award winning production. Witness the fall of the American Empire in this “extraordinary tale of victory, hypocrisy and ignorance” (NYTheatre.com). Nuclear Love Affair is a dark and provocative pop culture spectacle starring Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin and the Atomic Bomb. Set against a multimedia backdrop of war and persecution, this vision of a world gone wrong is both harsh and hysterical.
